Meet the shop
This family-owned store is a local treasure to generations of Pensacola residents and owner Rhonda Enfinger’s passion for crafts and sewing is the driving force behind the store’s success. Focusing on premium products at great prices, A & E Fabrics and Crafts is also known for sourcing fabrics, trims and embellishments for their customers. This is particularly helpful for the local Mardi Gras Krewes and other costume making organizations.
After winning the Local Quilt Shop Contest for Florida in 2024, Rhonda increased their selection of bag-making supplies and expanded their overall class offerings. Their Education Manager, Cena Harmon, bring more than 40 years of knowledge and experience in quilting and is working to bring in more regional and national educators to the shop.
With a small team of employees, A & E Fabrics is dedicated to bringing quilting, bag-making and costume sewing products to the western tip of the Florida panhandle on the norther Gulf Coast.
When you visit
The Pensacola area was named one of Conde Nast Traveler’s “Top 10 Best Small Cities” for 2023, known for its sugar-white beaches and crystal clear waters with miles of undeveloped, natural beachfront. The Florida Panhandle has some of the best freshwater canoe and kayak paddling in Florida, and some of the most remote and natural rivers.
While you’re there, visit the Pensacola Naval Air Station, the U.S. Navy’s elite flight demonstration squadron, the Blue Angels, and the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, a Minor League Baseball team of the Southern League and the Double-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins.
The Pensacola Airport (PNS) is available for travelers flying in to the area. If driving in, use I-10 whether you’re coming from the east, from Jacksonville and Tallahassee, Florida or from the west, from New Orleans, Louisiana or Mobile, Alabama.
